I have been creating artwork for licensing for over thirty years. While attending art school, I focused on fine art and began to develop my true love of color. Soon after, I began working with fiber, taking classes in weaving, spinning and batik. I was happy to find a job painting custom designed needlework canvases for a shop in New York. Surrounded by paints and yarns of every imaginable color, I was in a position that allowed me to use my creativity and earn a living at the same time!
I continue to design needlework today, writing books filled with designs to stitch, creating designs for kits and contributing to the major cross stitch magazines both here and in the UK.
All of my artwork is available for licensing and is suitable for a wide variety of products including stationery, tabletop, and textile applications.
I live and work in Brooklyn, New York and spend my summers in southern Vermont where I continue designing and delight in visits from friends and family. The joyous spirit I see in my nieces and nephews provide endless inspiration. In the beauty of the Vermont landscape, I get to indulge my passion for gardening while rejuvenating my creativity. I feel truly blessed that my husband and I have the opportunity to enjoy and share the many wonders and experiences that both city and country life have to offer.
